Random Thoughts.
The political situation is so upsetting, so out of control, so .....Oh gosh, what else can I say? If it forces me to limit my talk radio listening, it must be bad. Let's get real, folks. What can our Republican senators and congressmen really do? Nothing other than make a statement that "we don't agree". The only thing left to us is prayer. Ask our Holy Savior to intercede, He's our only hope. On the other hand....
...Strangely, I decided to blog on a totally different subject tonight. [Guess I have to distract myself from the damage the last 5 monthes have done to my country].
For whatever reason, it occurred to me that we have 3 (three) stages of love. That's right. Not life, but Love; 1) Puppy Love; this is the "first love" that we hope will last a lifetime. For my brother, it did.
Stage 2. This stage is more difficult. It could be "lust", it could be the more "mature", or it could be the "running away from stage one's failure".
Stage 3 is the stage that we come to grips with our life & our needs and their priorities. Hopefully, this is where God comes into our life, if He has not come to you before this time.
If this is the part of your life you are in, and you realize that the relationship that is the most important to you is the relationship you have with God, and more importantly His Son Jesus, then you are at the most important stage of your life.
I'll see you in Heaven.

Wow. You doing OK? I agree with you about God and our Savior. What I don't agree with is the finality of it all. We can make this work. You can't just give up. We fight on!!

Hmm...yeah, finality is not what I'm feeling. On a side note, being that Dagney Taggert is a creation of Ayn Rand who was an atheist, I find this post somewhat off kilter.

Logic and religion are not foreign to one another. She was raised in communist Russia, and never knew "belief", but that doesn't disallow her belief in the tenets of the Bible.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain nitpicking you on the literary origin of your nom d'plume. You chose the character's name for her qualities, not her spiritual significance, and that's obvious to, I think, most people.
Keep in mind that no one human being is in control of all of this... so regardless of how scary it may seem, keep the faith. There is something in all of this that we are meant to learn somehow, and it is never more than we can handle.

Dave Reichert SPEAKS: says Cap and Trade will be good for America
He argued that the expense would not be what the Heartland Institute, Heritage Foundation, and Wall Street Journal were predicting. He argued that it would cost around $.48 per day and that we would have better national security, more nuclear, coal and refining capabilities, and a cleaner environment with the bill. He argued that the conservative arguments against were mistaken, and that Washington specifically would be better off even though the bill was imperfect.
And, he caught the Green River Killer.
Yeah, it took him a couple of decades, but better late than never.
I hear Fox was thinking about making the Series 24 about Reichert. But instead of showing 24 hours in a day they would have to make each episode a year.

I don't care if he did catch a killer, he's still an idiot, or lying to himself if he thinks cap & tax won't kill our already sick economy! It will not make for more abundant energy, but will kill coal, and severely restrict getting our own oil!
