Immigration Bill, Shmimigration Bill...It's ILLEGAL!!!

All day long, in every venue, both the left and the right are complaining about this so-called "comprehensive immigration" bill on radio, on TV, on blogs.  My question is why?  Why is it a big deal, a BFD to some, that there are new laws?  They aren't enforcing the laws we currently have on the books, so why would we expect that they would enforce this new law?  Martinez must be getting delusional when he speaks about this joke of a bill...

"On CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer Sunday, Martinez said immigration "could be the saving of the Republican Party, frankly. And to do nothing would be the wrong thing for the American people." Martinez is optimistic that the controversial legislation will make it through Congress, and he is counting on President Bush "to get us over the finish line."

I don't know about your office, Mr. Martinez, but our Texas congressional members are being overwhelmed with opposition to this sham of a bill.  Even our Homeland Security Secretary doesn't believe we should control our borders!

They want to say we're against "brown skins", or we're prejudiced...whatever their charges are, all they are doing is to try to lead us down a path away from blaming them for not securing our borders.  You want to know why George W. Bush's "numbers" are low?  It's not Iraq, it's this border issue.  Shame on you President Bush.  Shame on you, congress.

You are right, of course. I don't write much about the whole illegal alien situation on my blog because like you I see it as blindingly obvious; they're illegal, so what's the question?

What really get's my blood boiling is when you read a news story about whether we should give in-state tuition to illegals. Uh, they're ILLEGAL people! As soon as we find out their status they should be immediately detained and shipped out of the country. Grrr!

Ahh yes...we should round them all up and ship them out. Thats yer solushun! Gonna pay for it? Have any intentions of paying for it? Have any idea how to pay for it? Kiss your tax cut buh bye baby 'cause its gonna cost a lot of money and you guys are the first in line to whine about a lot of social issues but usually can be found hiding in Hell when it comes time to pay for them. Sooooo.....typical! And all that money spent to ship them back and most of them will be back in this country within a week because you have a handful of Nat Guard and a bunch a volunteer rednecks guarding our border. Good luck on that. And they'll still get hired here because neither party wants to crack down on the employers hiring them illegally which if they did, they wouldn't want to come here anymore since there is no jobs to be had for them.

And I am not contributing to Rudy "pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro immigration amnesty, pro-gun control" Guiliani. What do I look like, a Liberal?

The cost of low income families in welfare subsidies is over $30,000 a year above what those families pay in taxes, so a fist class plane ticket back home is cheap in comparison. Because of tax cuts the money going into the treasury is at record highs, Google the Laffer Curve to understand why. Want to pay for deportation cut taxes more. I'd be happy if we deported just those that commit crimes but because we have so many “sanctuary” areas that prevent local law enforcement from even checking to see if an offender is legal or not we can’t even do that. How many brushes with law enforcement did the 3 illegal aliens of the Fort Dix 6 have, somewhere around 90 something I heard.

It was 86, Rancher...and that was my whole point, Syntax. If the laws we had were being enforced, a new law would not be needed. If we simply deported them when they get a speeding ticket, bounced a check, or any number of things law enforcement simply turn their back on, and severly fine companies hiring them, by simple attrition we'd eliminate the problem in a few short years.

As far as who you "look" like, I'd say it's someone who wants Shrillary Clinton in the White House, because Rudy is the only one who can not only beat her, but beat her soundly by bringing New York and New Jersey into the red state arena.
